Ventura County’s Amateur Radio operators (Ham Radio) have been officially recognized by the Ventura County Board of Supervisors, with a proclamation designating June as Amateur Radio Month. This honor celebrates the vital role local ham radio operators play in public safety, emergency communication, and community service.
To celebrate, we invite you to attend the Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, June 3 at 9:00 a.m., where all Ventura County ham radio operators will be formally recognized for their contributions to the community.
This public event in Ventura County is open to everyone. We encourage all licensed ham radio operators, radio enthusiasts, and community members to attend and show their support. The meeting will be televised, offering additional visibility for Amateur Radio awareness and a chance to promote upcoming events like ARRL Field Day 2025.
The meeting will be held at the Ventura County Government Building on June 03 – Please plan to arrive by 8:30 a.m.
